a space. a purpose. my thots.11月20日 HAPPY EXCERPTS =)))1. Someone asked me to describe my current job.
Being an events coordinator assistant is like being a very organised yet outward looking person. Lots of planning & admin & telesales. The real fun for me begins when I get to touch the best design works from the top creative directors, get inspired & also hear them speak at media/advertising events tt we organise. In fact, just this Tues after a company pub night event, an ang moh guy just suddenly wrapped his arm around me & said he is bias & liked me alot in front of my boss & a whole lots of other pple in the advertising industry and took photo with me. He paid me compliments for a job well done. ^^ I was unaware that I actually took photo with the D&AD (reowned in design world) president until my NYP junior (student volunteer) came to tell me after that! ahaha..
Still trying for that graphic designer job though!
 The HUGE dream He placed in me to raise up a generation of designers still beats no matter how many times I try to ignore. It consumes my every being.
2. I was just reading Moving in the Spirit by Phil Pringle as morning spiritual cuppa. Thought it would be good to share with you guys. :)
Our relationship with God is directly determined by how we view Him. It is impossible to know God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit outside of revelation. Matthew 11:27 "All things have been delivered to me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
We relate to God as we see Him. This affects everything. It affects the way we relate to others. It affects the way we receive from God. If we see God as hard, severe and difficult to please then we will live a furrow-browed life, trudging through our time here without joy, trying to keep God happy with our puny efforts. On the other hand, if we see God as happy, easy to please, enjoying life, light, colourful, eternally youthful and smiling, then we will have an entirely different approach to life.

 We can attempt to develop this latter view of God just by acknowledging some facts and becoming familiar with a few scriptures that describe God as such. But it takes a revelation of God-the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit-in our spirit to change the way we live and minister. Miracles are not a big deal to the Lord, even though they might be to us. They are easy for Him, not difficult. Nothing is too difficult for the Lord.

Jer32:17 "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you."
How we view God and our relationship to Him will have a great influence over the anointing on us because the anointing is generated in our lives not by our own effort but by grace. When we know that God will move according to His grace, not according to our goodness or our efforts, then we are on solid ground for moving in the supernatural.
Miracles happen because of God's will, not ours. If we want to perform miracles more than we want to do the will of God, then we are trying to move ahead of Him. We are trying to make things happen rather than just "letting" them happen.
If we pretend something is happening when it isn't, people looking on will be aware that nothing is really happening. This can damage their faith because their expectations are unmet. God does heal. God does perform miracles. But it is He who does these things, not us. We are simply servants who release the power of God through the spoken Word and through the laying on of hands.
It really suddenly got my attention, kept reading it over & over again & cg msg sure coincided with it. Work today was SUPER productive & somehow I could keep the peace & have the wisdom to get boss to move over from a foul mood to a lighter mood so she could see the work from my perspective. That saves me from alot of unnecessary no-reason scolding from her too. Scored brownie points!* Hahaha..definitely His timing. :)

Or is one still so pre-occupied that can only see within themselves?

I choose to say nothing, does not mean I am not angry. In fact I WAS. But at least, confiding in someone I trust helps me to see better & know I am loved for who I am, whether I did the right thing or not. At least I know I am loved. The rest, I GIVE UP. YOU SETTLE YOUR OWN STUFF.

So super busy @ work, ministry, family, etc. Even my good testimonies are shared among a small group of close friends only. No one else gets to hear it. BECAUSE I DON'T THINK ANYONE IS WILLING TO LISTEN WOR..... If you really wanna listen, then do open up your ears & heart big big wor... In short: had a free bento lunch, was recognised by Big Boss since my current boss MIA-ED for 5 consecutive days, favour with people, taught some xmas songs to the alto girls, some jobs came chasing after me, felt His presence & joy so strong. Yup. :)
No time for myself actually. But I've learnt to cherish the moments I fellowship with people. OK sometimes I really do need some ME-TIME. I can't always be listening to people's complaints, frustrations, experiences, etc... & then WHO LISTENS TO MINE????? I also need & want to be listened to..... Sometimes I just wanna do some reckless activity without caring about anything or anyone. Like scaring someone across the street on Halloween or some random day with some friends....doing carolling & getting paid/treated for it... updating my WHOLE wardrobe, tonning at someone's house jamming/cooking late supper/DVD marathon. (: Something to feed the soouuul... So free!!~
Some would say said that is so soulish & unspiritual. Well I know I have body, soul & spirit. WHAT HAVE YOU-body & spirit only?!?!?!? Man, if you think "she is so unspiritual", then you really need to breathe, smile more & take a look at yourself in the mirror. Question: Do you love yourself?

Hmm, from what I encountered in my walk with Him previously, those doors that He opened for me & when I felt the green light (the peace) to just go ahead, everything just fell into place inspite of the difficulties. Just somehow I had more strength & faith to do it despite of the obstacles cos I know & I know deep down within He is WITH ME TO OVERCOME.

Well I like to sing, I love art & design, culture, animals & nature alot! Since young, been always very drawn to these stuff & did whatever I could to learn about them. But now, it's time to step up on what I have learnt & done to another level! Not to forget, must remember not to ignore my health while pursuing them. I am trying my best not to ignore health. Remind me if I DO!

Last wkend, serving in choir for s2 was awesome but it was even more awesome when I served in Dialect Church last Sun. What an encounter. Each of the dialect BVs on stage encountered Him personally in a very special way.
*sings* He's smiling down upon me. He's breathing upon me. So warm, so real, embracing me for all I am. Yea yea yea... Everything not meant to be there falls away. I really can't help smiling! =)))))

Some people hit the road harder than others. Some seem to insist their road is straight despite all the obvious curves and bumps. Some seem to bounce back faster than others but may/may not help those slower or struggling mates depending on their mood. DO NOT COMPARE. Everyone has their own path in life to take. Inspite of all these, God must be a CONSTANT IMPORTANT FACTOR INCLUDED. Without Him, where would we be? Without Him, there is nothing much to celebrate even if we have gained the whole world. I will only go where He is going. Am glad for cg meeting last night. This whole week was fun, tiring and with alot of thorns too. Even at the last minute on my way to cg meeting, a "bomb" came. I had to defuse it somehow. Much needed an encounter with Him again so can re-focus and get a bigger perspective. Thank You Father!
 And thanks Grace for your mum's dinner! YES I will bring my mum next week for cg meeting to meet your mum!  And thanks alot to Aloy the driver, Ah Jie, SB & Elvis for helping out in my transport last night. :) Yup managed to get the last train at potong pasir & catch night-rider. After that, peaceful all the way man. Just caught up on my sleep, feels great!  I was just talking over MSN with a friend whom I haven't talked to for a loooooong time. Realised that despite of all the storms I'm in, God's hand was always there. He saved me from my boss' mood so I won't get fired for nothing. Really thank God for His wisdom & boldness so I would not get "eaten up" haha... Thank God for sharpness and favour of man. People keep coming to me to solve their problems. I kept getting treats day in day out, plus an auntie sold her Indonesian bento to me with a free dessert for lunch. Jus $4.50.
Just to make a point: I miss You God... I need You more than ever so that I can be there for them. So that even when I cannot solve the problems, You are there for me.

 Every Sun evening to night can be considered as a gathering of worshippers very hungry for God & soaking, just soaking DEEP DEEP into His presence. Can just keep crying man. After that, we will go somewhere for crazy fellowship. I'm addicted. ♥ ♥ ♥ Good thing is that Pierson lives near me so nowadays after all the mad fellowships, I get a lift back home when he takes cab..hohoho..Tues:
1) Boss Jennifer suddenly treated me to an expensive coffeeshop at Amara Hotel. Mostly expats would dine there. The local food like chicken rice, hokkien mee, beef hor fun were tagged at a crazy price of $13.90!! WAH. I wonder if the chicken underwent some SPECIAL process compared to our good old $2.50/$3.00 chicken rice? =.=" The slightly more adventurous foods were the perenakan bento, etc, which my boss didn't allow me to take though at the same price as the EXPENSIVE chicken rice due to my recent diarrhea. Since boss insisted I order chicken rice cos she tried it & it was real good, of course I had to ask about the chilli too! No chilli, no kick man... AND YES, the expensive chicken rice was really GOOD like my boss recommended. All drumstick, ample meat, good soup stock, the rice could have been abit better, and the chilli was good but the one at JW is even more POWERFUL!! haha.. Had a very good talk with her whuch really ironed out some issues in our working relationship. :)

More pimples popped out cos preparation for Hall of Fame Awards' Gala Night is intensifying, so are the demands of my 2nd job. Past two days been prepping myself up with strong coffee. Effective. Then Boss suddenly passed some cash to me. She said she wanted to bless me as she knows how it feels like in my situation as she and her family's been there before. Am so glad to know & hear of the similiar experiences of others. Greatly encouraged. But man I am in a singing mood!!! I sang while walking across my block's void deck, at the bus-stop, at my tuition kid's house, even when some people turned around to look at me, etc. hahahaa.. When I feel something in my spirit knowing something GOOD is gonna happen, I cannot help but keep on singing & smiling despite the stares!!!
*sings* NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!~ =) Get ready, something is about to happen!!!

10月18日 Choir.Memories.Service.EncountersIf sufferings can come in many forms, shapes and fashion. So can love come in many forms, shapes and fashion too.
Thank you Ah Jie for suddenly treating me to dinner! It was definitely an answer to a prayer I made during svc just now. Love being with you guys at dinner. :)
Thank you for PK's msg today. Spoke to me in many ways. Condemnation & discouragement lifted. I feel the word LIBERATION totally!! ♥ ♥ ♥
Thank You Father for allowing me to serve in service choir today. *grateful* Today was a journey of memories of old encounters & new encounters. I remembered telling Vann my neighbour during pre-svc prac that I could totally agree with Meida that choir in Hollywood theatre back then rocked the house down! The balcony of the theatre shook too! I know it cos I was one of those people who stood there & clapped among the colourful tees & jeans of the CHC youth congregation. =) That was my 1st encounter with CHC when I came in. I was super happy to be in the presence of a group of people who yearned & love God with all their heart, soul & might..plus expressed it in vivid creative ways!! To end the prac before svc started, we prayed for one another's needs in 2 or 3s. My group had Gabriel, Charmaine & me. Lovely & dynamic! We spoke into one another's lives and that's called fruitful prayer! Woohoo! :)
Maybe many of us have never got to experience CHC in its purest forms when they were moving from place to place looking for a House of Worship. I never did too. I only joined during their last few weeks in Hollywood theatre. But it was enough to get me keep coming back for more.
Now I know what drew me causing me to want more. It was the CHC people's great love for God that made me see Him in them. The DNA of Christ in them that touched me and at times, dumbfounded me. It was this that made me want to know more about God, want to be more like them.
 Sorry I could only find a pic taken during 2008 Asian Conference but this will suffice. :)
TODAY I get to see a glimpse of that 1st encounter. Now I am not one of those in the congregation singing but in choir as a helper, and clapping, singing, groovy jumping & cheering for God together with like-minded people - simply just loving Him in a vocal way. The presence of God was so awesomely beautiful. Indescribable. No, I think I can sum up today's choir during svc on 17.10.2009 in 4 words, SOLD OUT FOR HIM!!! :DD I really really hope to experience more of choir in this manner. Really. ;) Choir, JIAYOU JIAYOU!JIAYOU!!! Man, I'm hungry now..haha..

I pondered over hats theme, fall season clothes, shades of pink yet chic.. But in the end, went with autumn clothes freestyle with or without a hat. I really wanted to wear my big cousin's Giordano orange sweater but upon REALISING EVERYONE ELSE ON THE TEAM is wearing brown, silver, black & white, decided I've to tone down if not I will look like a bright orange leaf in the midst of winter blings as you can see below.. LOL..
